Current Schedule:
DISTRICT RACING ELIGIBILITY & FORMAT
- If you have a Provincial Racing License through the Saskatchewan Cycling Association or a UCI License, you are eligible to race in a District race at Globe BMX, even if you are not a Globe BMX Club member.
- License upgrade instructions are noted below in the next section
- Riders in both the 20″ and 24″ Cruiser Class are eligible.
- Striders / Under 4 will race a modified format of the first 2 motos (full track), everyone else will race the standard 3 moto format unless semi’s or mains are required.
- Independant riders will be charged $10/rider/race to participate. Cash only. Must be handed in at check in table prior to each race.
- Riders must check in with registration between 5:15pm – 6pm on race day

- Log in using the same account that you purchased your license and membership originally
- Choose the big orange button that says Purchase a License (do not join a club, you’ve already done that!)
- Select any rider that is 5 and older in age
- Select Provincial Racing License, choose your correct BMX Class, and for the other disciplines just choose any of the selections when prompted.
- It will calculate the difference between the General and Provincial license fee and only charge you the difference (if you’re under 17, it’s only $15)
- Do not choose any Club Affiliation
- Check out, then wait for your new license to be emailed to you by the Saskatchewan Cycling Association
- Save Licenses to phones for easy check-in on race days
DISTRICT RACE REGISTRATION:
**NEW** On-site check-in – Riders must check in with our registration volunteer between 5:15pm and 6pm on race days, no pre-registration required. Please come prepared to present your race license (paper or digital copy).
TRACK SETUP
- Registration check-in will be positioned so that as riders/parents arrive at the entrance of the track, riders can be positioned for briefing and parents can be directed to spectating/gear area section.
- First Aid will have a standard kit with first aid supplies, that will also consist of gloves, mask and sanitizer.
- Volunteers during races will consist of Check-In/Race Secretary, Gate Operator, First Aid, Finish Line Assistants, Commissaires, Staging & Track safety.
THURSDAY DISTRICT RACING SCHEDULE ( End date TBD):
- 5:15pm – 6pm: Check In & Warm Up Laps
- You can check in anytime between 5:15pm and 6pm, warm up laps will be continuous
- First Aid & Gate Operator must be available at this time
- Please let us know by 5:30pm if you are no longer able to race VERY IMPORTANT!
- 6pm: Motos posted online on Sqorz https://our.sqorz.com/org/globebmx
- 6pm – 6:15pm:
- Staging begins
- Officials & Volunteer Meeting
- 6:15pm – 6:30pm: Staging Continues & Announcements
- 6:30pm: Race Start (Striders race first and then the race follows the moto format starting at moto 1)
SUNDAY FALL RACING SCHEDULE (Sept 7th, 14th & 21st):
- Riders must check in with our registration volunteer between 5:15pm and 6pm on race days, no pre-registration required
- check and make sure age, plate, name, gender and class are correct
- 4:00pm – 4:45pm: Check In & Warm Up Laps
- You can check in anytime between 4pm and 4:45pm, warm up laps will be continuous
- First Aid & Gate Operator must be available at this time
- Please let us know by 4:30 if you are no longer able to race VERY IMPORTANT
- 4:45pm: Motos posted online on Sqorz https://our.sqorz.com/org/globebmx
- 4:45pm – 5:00pm:
- Staging begins
- Officials & Volunteer Meeting
- 5:00pm – 5:15pm: Staging Continues & Announcements

THURSDAY OPEN TRACK SCHEDULE (Sept 11th, 18th & 25th) :
- 6pm – 8pm: Open Gate Practice

SESSION SIGNUP:
- District racing (May to September) – anyone that carries a valid SCA Provincial Cycling Licence or UCI license will be able to race.
- Session signup will be done weekly via the Calendly app, integrated into the globebmx.com website (below on this page). Link will be shared once available.
- Registration cut off will be 6pm on Wednesday or Saturday prior to Thursday / Sunday racing. NO EXCEPTIONS.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Bike, full face helmet with visor in tact, proper race clothing, gloves and other race gear
- License (photo on phone is fine)
- Race Plate (should stay on your bike) and if you don’t have one yet, you’ll receive it at your first practice or race session once registered as a member
- Small toolkit with side cutters, multi-tool, wrenches, hex/allen keys….whatever you might need to make sure you can adjust your gear as needed. Some even bring a tire pump which comes in useful!
- TAPE & SHARPIE – this is for writing down moto assignments/lanes for you or your rider
- Chairs if you want to sit down for spectating
- Water & snacks
- Parking as usual will be in the Lakewood Civic Center lots.
VOLUNTEERS
- Volunteers are required to run races each week. Without the help of volunteers, we can’t run an efficient and fun race! Please consider volunteering here when links become available each week:

Sometimes BMX may lead to injury! If the attending first aid is not able to assist a riders injuries on site, you may need to visit a local clinic, Hospital or Emergency Room. See the Emergency Action Plan for full details, or the quick info below on where to go in an emergency:
