2021 Fundraising Requirement

With the changes to BMX racing format due to COVID restrictions in 2020 (and likely ones that will carry into 2021) that affect our ability to host provincial race events, instead of increasing membership fees we have decided to continue to emphasize the importance of fundraising. Provincial and fundraising race events prior to the 2020 season were a primary fundraising opportunity for our club. We’d have a small race registration fee, concession and prize raffles that generated income for our club. In 2020, we introduced the fundraising commitment that you’ll read about below, and it was a low effort, revenue-generating success that we will once again implement for the 2021 season.

Fundraising Commitment

Each family, upon membership registration checkout, will be required to pay $100 for their 2021 fundraising commitment. This fee is per family, not per rider. Don’t stress! We are going to provide you with opportunities to earn that $100 dollars back throughout the season if you so choose to.
